Zamboanga Rescue

General Information

Zamboanga Rescue is a Volunteer Organization founded and conceptualized on May 2012 by the City Health Office and Southwestern Action For Emergencies (SAFE). Devoted to saving lives, the unit is mandated to respond to emergencies by providing quality pre hospital care and prompt safe transport.

Members of the organization are Certified Emergency Medical Technicians with local and international recognitions. Members are also trained to provide both basic and advanced life support. Zamboanga Rescue is now a name that is also adapted by the Zamboanga City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (ZCDRRMO) and is also under the supervision of the office.

To ensure quality patient care by administering an effective, city wide system of coordinated emergency medical care, injury preventions, and disaster medical response.

To be a distinguished leader in providing pre hospital care and in enhancing health care delivery, and be recognized for the passion of its people and partners in providing, innovative pre hospital care to the patients it serves in the community.
