Vongarde Art Gallery

We envision to revitalize the “old gallery” and bring it closer to people by bridging the gap between art lovers of all kinds and forging a renewed art community in the city. With a growing number of art enthusiasts and collectors, and a thriving scene of young, up-and-coming artists, we believe that there is a lot of potential waiting to be tapped to truly cement the place of the art industry in the country. With enough guidance, the Philippines can soon be renowned internationally for its dynamic scene where real value and appreciation is given to art, not just by connoisseurs but even by ordinary people.

Situated in the heart of Katipunan, Vongarde Art Gallery aims to provide art lovers not only with actual artworks, but also with the knowledge, insight, and skill which will make them intelligent and discerning buyers. By educating buyers about market trends and showing them the bigger picture, we are giving them perspective about the current value of art, which results in smarter investments. We teach people what to look for and where, so that they can make substantial contributions that keep the industry booming. We provide consultancy for collectors and serve as advisors for their buying and selling needs.

At Vongarde, we believe that all this could be achieved only with artists who have a unique vision and exceptional skill. We do not deny that our taste is selective, after all we want to raise the bar of art appreciation. Thus, we offer art management to fresh, new artists whom we feel the rest of the world should know about. We become representatives and promoters of sorts as we bridge the gap between artists and their prospective buyers.

Lastly, we try to be as supportive and encouraging as possible to those who want to learn art or to bring their skill to the next level. Our well-balanced mix of traditional and progressive approach in teaching backed by years of experience of first-hand practice, and insider insights, make Maison Art Workshops by Vongarde.

Our workshops, whether in group or one-on-one, are unique in that students learn techniques not even taught by other, more established outfits. We believe in giving each student special attention and focus so that they can meet their maximum potential and realize their artistic goals in the most conducive atmosphere possible.
