TRACE College

National prosperity begins with educational advancement. It is on this belief that a man of vision, Dr. Efraim C. Genuino, founded a college that places the Filipino youth at the heart of the educational system for they will in time, lead the nation to prosperity.

He foresaw that the Philippines would soon be joining the first-world nations as an industrialized country, with the computer as an integral part of its development. In response to this, the Technological Research for Advanced Computer Education (TRACE) was born.

TRACE College, then known as TRACE Computer College, started in 1986 in the City of Makati offering short-term computer programs and courses. It transferred to its newly acquired campus in Batong Malake, Los Baños, Laguna in 1996.

In year 2000, TRACE Computer College started offering Basic Education and other computer and business degree programs. The following year it was renamed TRACE Computer and Business College.

Other programs such as BS Nursing, BS Hotel and Restaurant Management, BS Accountancy, BS Psychology were subsequently offered in response to the demand of the industry. With the wide array of programs and establishment of world-class and state-of-the-art facilities, TRACE Computer and Business College was changed to TRACE College.

Today, TRACE College offers Basic Education (K-12), Technical-Vocational Training, and Tertiary Education under its four (4) colleges: College of Nursing (CON); College of Business and Management (CBM); College of Education, Arts, and Sciences (CEAS); and College of Computer Studies and Engineering (CCSE). What started out as a grand vision now takes pride in its comprehensive line of facilities, highly competent faculty, and hundreds of fresh and dynamic minds.
