Tabernacle of Faith Christian Academy

PURPOSE & OBJECTIVES:

Tabernacle of Faith Christian Academy was established in order to provide quality education to students in a Christian environment. In this environment, teachers train today's students to be tomorrow's leaders.

Teachers emphasize self-discipline, individual responsibility, personal integrity and good citizenship. Tabernacle of Faith Christian Academy stands without apology for the highest standards of morality and Christian behavior.

Therefore, TFCA does not give students an education run by Christians; it provides them with a Christian education. TFCA strives to teach each student to look at the world from the perspective of God's word. Tabernacle of Faith Christian Academy gives parents the responsibility to "train up" their children in the "nurture and admonition of the Lord." It is TFCA's desire to aid parents in carrying out this responsibility.


HISTORY

The vision of opening Tabernacle of Faith Christian Academy was birthed in the heart of Mrs. Nita Llarena, the wife of Pastor Ray Llarena, in 1985. It was because of the faithfulness to the call of God that Pastor Ray, together with his family moved to Manila from the United States to start a church in 1984. In 1985, an orphanage was opened led by the burden of Mrs. Llarena, responding to the challenge of putting up a ministry. Gradually, year after year it developed to be a Christian learning institution.

One year later in 1986, with great courage and faith, true enough Tabernacle of Faith Christian Academy was beginning to be established. It started its operation in the Broadway Centrum building, Quezon city. In the same year, Mrs. Llarena went to be with the Lord. Determined to carry out God's will, Rev. Ray Llarena took over with the work following the vision of his dearly beloved wife. There was a handful of students and teachers in the beginning but as the people whom God called remained faithful, the Lord prospered the school.

It was in 1993, when God blessed the school with a building, that Tabernacle of Faith Christian Academy has been housed in a five-storey building in at 151 J. Ruiz St., San Juan, Metro Manila (San Juan City). Classes from pre-school to high school started to be conducted in this edifce which was since then. Now the dream and vision became realities and workers' task is to pursue.

The school is an institution based on the principles of the Bible, aimed at training and producing individuals which will have the potential to contribute to the welfare of society intellectually, emotionally, and most of all spiritually.
TFCA accomplished these, through the expertise of highly competent and godly teachers coupled with responsible administrators with the intent of training its students competitively through a very comfortable and conducive learning environment.

It is a non-stock, non-profit, private interdenominational school striving to provide high academic standard of education using DepEd approved curriculum.
