St. Vincent de Paul Montessori and Science High School - San Pedro

The school’s history all started on April 3, 1994. it was founded by Mr. and Mrs. Benito and Leticia B. Llamoso. The school site is located at the center of the rice field extending the front gate along Lagumbay Road, which is a shortcut road to several towns in eastern, Laguna. It consist of a total land area of thirteen thousand six hundred six (13,606)sq. m. of which is elevated. This portion is where the school buildings exist. The remaining 7,703 sq. m. is the proposed area for vocational and college courses with an auditorium and swimming pool for the students and school personnel.

The school is non-stock, non-profit educational institution incorporated under the Philippines laws and was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on February 20,1996. Its primary purpose is to offer Pre-Elementary, Elementary, Secondary, Vocational and College courses in accordance with up-to date and modern education theories, principles, and methods of teaching authorized by the Department of Education.

After twelve (12) years, St. Vincent de Paul Montessori and Science High School (SVPMSHS) in Landayan, San Pedro was born. It was in School Year 2002-2003 when the only daughter, of Mr. and Mrs. Benito Llamoso, Ms Annabelle De Guzman continued the dream. She was inspired by her mother’s attainment as respected educator and then an Araling Panlipunan Division Supervisor of Department of Education in Laguna. SVPMSHS in San Pedro, Laguna started with the Pre-school and complete Elementary and on it’s 2nd year of operation when we were granted the recognition for NKP and Elementary while recognition for complete High School was granted on S.Y. 2004-2005. SVPMSHS Landayan, San Pedro was a really God-guided school for we started an aproximate 300 students from Pre-school, Elementary and High School. It was indeed a progressive institution with about less than 20 licensed staff. We also cater poor children as beneficiary for we believe that they too deserved a good education.

The school assumes the task of enhancing and developing academic excellence and producing literate citizenry and the acceleration of the growth of science and technological manpower needed for social and economic progress. Its ultimate objective is to provide total quality education among pupils and students to achieve global competitive and empowerment of the individual and society with the tools of scientific knowledge toward the improvement of the environment and the quality of life.
