Sayre Gamecock Farm

In 2011, Francis, the son of Boy, returned to take a more active role in the development of the farm. The father and son tandem quickly complemented with the father having a broad knowledge of the game through years of experience while the son tries to continue the research for more effective ways through a technological and scientific approach.

New bloodlines were then infused and incorporated into the farm to cater the needs of enthusiasts and the betting public as well as keeping up with a more competitive cockfighting sport in the country.

Classic Bloodlines that were maintained throughout the years are the Iron Lady Hennies, Oscar Akins Lacy Roundheads, Bruner Hatches, Bobby Shepherd Kelsos, Johnnie Jumper Radios and Rubles/Hulsey Greys.

New Bloodlines that are currently being infused include the 5K Sweaters, McLean Hatches, White Kelsos, White Clarets, English Doms, Cardinal Kelsos, Mel Sims Black, Rat Graves Leiper Hatches and the Oregon Greys.

Among all, the Iron Lady Hennies always stand-out as the best with their sterling performance and record through the years. It is with the Hennies that this farm was known especially during the 80's and 90's. Recently Sayre Gamecock Farm emerged champion once again during the Dumaguete Fiesta 5-Cock Derby last Nov. 25, 2011 with a perfect 5 wins using an All-Hennie line-up.
