San Isidro is one of the 15 barangays of Tagbilaran, Province of Bohol, Philippines. It is one of the largest barangays in the city in terms of area with }}}}. According to the, it has a population of – making it the least populated in the city.San Isidro is located in the east of Tagbilaran. It is bounded to the north by Cabawan and Tiptip, to the west by Dao, to the south by Dampas and to the east by the municipality of Corella.HistorySan Isidro was formerly called "". It was blessed with fertile valleys and plains, and its farmers used to experience excess of farm produce which spoils ("gaboc" in local dialect). The residents used to have more than enough food for their daily consumption. As farmers, the residents chose St Isidore the Laborer, patron saint of the National Rural Life Conference, to be also their patron Saint. St. Isidore or San Isidro, was born in Madrid, Spain, and spent his life as a humble farm worker.The then barangay captain Anacleto Sandulan with his barangay council passed a resolution changing the name of Gaboc to San Isidro, which was approved by a majority of its constituents in a plebiscite.
