RED Images

“RED” as frequently known, is a second-generation entrepreneurial venture from a family of photographers. It followed after “Dare’s Photography”, which has a history of fifty years in experience and service in the school photography industry. RED Images, Inc was brought about in the year 2005.

Aside from specializing in School and studio photography, RED Images is one of the top ranks when it comes to growing service related endeavors. This is strongly evident with its management, employees, timeless standard, premiere service, facilities and creative products.

Loyalty, service, experience, passion for work and continuous development of products and services are the values that RED Images always keeps in mind as seen with its present clientele and loyal clientele from over the years.

“RED” derives from the names of the married couple, Ricardo and Epifania Dare.

Mr. Ricardo E. Dare Jr. was a hardworking man and his whole life was dedicated to photography. His peers knew him as “The Photoman”. He has spent most of his experience in photography at the University of Santo Tomas, dating back to nineteen years of service together with his wife Mrs. Epifania Bandiola Dare, who worked hand in hand with him as their secretary and coordinator for X’or Studios, the official photographer of the said university during that time.

Mr. Dare was indeed a man of honesty and service. His passion to his craft was admirable. Because of his know-how and diligence in the field of photography, he was made chief photographer of X’or Studios. During his term, he worked with the guidance of different Dominican priests; namely Fr. Antonio Gonzales O.P., Fr. Fausto Gomez, O.P., and Fr. Niera. Mr. Dare’s main assignment at that time was to take charge of all school activities in the University of Santo Tomas, specially the ‘UST Thomasian’. Aside from the University of Santo Tomas, he was also chief photographer for the University of the Philippines, in Diliman and Los Baños; Colegio de San Juan de Letran and Mapúa Institute of Technology, all under X’or Studio.

As a truly devoted man to his family and with the growing need to support them, Mr. Dare requested the owners of X’or Studios that he would like to leave the company in order for him to start his own photography business, which they then approved of. From then on, he started to offer his photography services to different schools, which were not under X’or’s contract.

As Mr. Dare built a good reputation of his own in work, he was given the opportunity to be the official photographer of the La Consolacion group of schools in central Luzon. He took charge of providing photography services for prestigious La Consolasion schools such as La Consolacion College, Caloocan; La Consolacion University of the Philippines and La Consolacion College, Manila.

Customers and those who had the chance to work with Mr. Dare would remember him as someone approachable and easy to talk to. He managed to maintain a good relationship with his clients over the years. He was a man contented with what he had and a man who was determined to sacrifice and save up for his future and his loved ones.

Mr. Dare aspired to expand his photography business. After a few years of working in Dare’s Photography, he and his wife were able to set aside savings. That hard-earned money was used to bring about RED Images. RED’s vision and mission was to provide excellent photographs and provide quality service to its clients. RED wanted to tell potential customers “Dare to experience the difference when you have your pictures taken at RED Images”
