History of Raises Montessori Academe

A. The Birth of The Blessed School:

As manifestation of strong advocacy and love of knowledge, the group of vibrant Educators, under the leadership of Mr. Ramon A. Ravanzo and Cherry P. Ravanzo, conceived to rise the school that will be a channel of blessings to thousands of children today and in the coming generations.

The desire to establish a school conceived to relinquish in 1995 when tutorial learning center was formed by Cherry Ravanzo in the small house located in Dona Aurora Street, ANGONO, Rizal.

Due to demand for relevant and functional educational system, Ms. Johanna P. Gatdula fills to offer her hands to make the big contribution as first teacher to implement effective reading method developed as early curriculum for Raises children of 3 to 6 years old.

From dream to reality, in 1997 Mr. Ramon A. Ravanzo made inspiring contribution to the birth of RAISES ACADEMY. His effort and belief wear to be the instrument toward the realization of that dream. Raises, from its initial nature as tutorial center, was transformed to a formal school. As part of his big contributions, Mr. Ravanzo elected as President of Raises Academy Inc. from 1997 up to present.

If there's a school that is showered with so much blessings, it would be raises Academy. From the time of its existence, God's astounding hands are at work. God finds way and send people to pursue His plan.

February 23, 1997 Raises Academy of Guido Pag-asa, Binangonan, Rizal was born. The lot of more than 500 square meters was acquired to pout vision to reality.

As years unfold, developments were accomplished to provide supplementary classrooms and enhanced facilities to its expanding student populace.

B. The Birth of Raises Academy of Sumulong, Angono,Rizal

Three Years after the birth of Raises Guido Branch in Pag-asa Binangonan, Rizal, in 1999 Raises-Angono Branch was born to answer the need to expand the former learning center located in Dona Aurora Street Angono, Rizal.

Mrs.Belen Vocalan, one of the prominent parent of Raises, offered her hand to finance the establishment of building to sustain expansion for the growing number of students. In the nearby location, Raises Sumulong Branch was born. It started with four classrooms, 3 teachers and 85 students from pre-school to Grade 1. Under the management of Mr.Buen Gatdula, Johanna Gatdula and Angelina Pascual supported by dreams and inspirations, Raises Academy Sumulong Branch has today a population of almost 500 students from pre-school to high school.

C.The Rise of Raises Montessori Academe-Muzon Taytay, Rizal:

In the year 2005, couples Ramon A. Ravanzo and Cherry P. Ravanzo made thorough study of the demand to establish a school located in Muzon Taytay, Rizal.

Research has been made to entify study regarding the feasibility to put up a new Raises entity in Muzon Taytay, Rizal. To put vision to reality, Ramon A. Ravanzo, negotiated the lease of a two storey building owned by businessman Mr.Manuel Javier. As projected, the feasibility and accessibility of the said building for educational institution permit to operate was granted by Municipal; Governess, Security and Exchange Commission(SEC) and the department of Education(DepEd).

In June 2006, Raises Muzon was born and classes for Pre-Elementary(Junior Casa 1, Junior Casa 2 and Advanced Casa) and Elementary (Grades I - IV) were opened to answer the demand of community for school accessibility to them, to offer quality education.

Raises Montessori Academe of Muzon Taytay, Rizal...a dream...a vision....and now a reality. Almost 200 students this year of first operation in Muzon, enjoyed the education Raises Montessori committed to offer...today...and n the coming years.

D. Philosophy of the School:

Raises Montessori Academe shall provide quality education that will enhance the development of students' potential, fostering love and understanding, physical strength and joy discovery.

Vision:

To see children in this nation enjoying education in the bases of their potential.

Aims:

Our school aims to develop students'; great interest in learning, thus, we may help them build their potentials in the maximum level of their capacity.

Mission:

The philosophy of our school considers the child, the school and the teacher with the support of the family in developing child's potential. Pre-School and Elementary provide learning activities that will develop potential fostering, understanding, physical strength and for discovery.

A child may differ from another because of the economic and social status of his family, his race, color and religion, but all children are alike with regards to basic needs - the love and affection and their need to belong.

Even though the teacher is academically good, her efficiency as a teacher does not guarantee her qualification. The teacher is required to be with courage and genuine interest with children. She must be helpful, kind and dependable person gains the children confidence and affection.

The school must be a learning center. All things demand planning and careful analysis of desire policies. The aim of the school to provide complete equipment sustain better learning outcomes as a result of adequate facilities.
