PAPA PRITO entered the bustling and cut-throat gourmet scene of Tagaytay in 2011 with the promise of food and ambiance that are rich in taste but light on the pocket --not the easiest combination. Since then, it has become Tagaytay's social equalizer, cutting across social classes, and growing a local following--rare in a town where business relies heavily on tourists and weekenders for survival.
PAPAU PAU'S DINER opened its doors to Ilocanos, known for their impeccable and traditional taste buds, in a cramped 40 sqm space in 2008 before moving to a bigger place along the famed restaurant row of Laoag. It pioneered the boodle concept in Ilocandia, with a vision of bringing families and friends closer together while enjoying good food and creating fond memories.
