For lack of a better fish sauce.

As with how most expat stories go, Paomart Vietnamese Grocery was borne out of homesickness. Missing his native fish sauce, this Vietnamese owner tried local and Thai variants. Frustrated, he decided to bring his hometown's fish sauce here.

The funny thing was that everyone kept asking for Vietnamese coffee! Well, he thought, as long as he was bringing coffee, he was going to bring his favorite instant noodles and snacks and open his own mini Vietnamese grocery.

A few months and a partner later, Paomart Vietnamese Grocery was born.
