Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa is a local university in the Philippines.HistoryOn May 29, 1991, the Municipal Council of Muntinlupa passed Resolution No. 91-191 and Resolution No. 91-192 officially creating a government-run college, which gave rise to the Muntinlupa Polytechnic College (MPC). Housed in the Pedro E. Diaz High School in Alabang, Muntinlupa, the college started with 309 students.With the increase in the number of enrollees, MPC moved to another temporary location on the second floor of the Contessa Building in Poblacion, where all offices and classrooms were air-conditioned. At this time MPC established linkages with the Commission on Higher Education for the development of quality education.In March 1998, MPC realized its dream of moving from the compact Contessa Building to its own permanent two-storey building, which was erected at the Muntinlupa National High School Compound in the NBP Reservation Area.In 2002, the construction of the Academic Building was completed with the third and fourth floors that house the library, auditorium and additional classrooms.
