Pag-asa ng Batang may Kapansanan Foundation Inc. - Davao

The Pag-asa ng Batang may Kapansanan Foundation Inc. (PBKFI) is a non-stock, non-profit organization established for the purpose of extending grants of endowments to support its goal or raising funds to accomplish charitable, educational, medical and rehabilitation assistance (physical and occupational therapy). PBKFI’s mission is to create an inclusive and non-handicapping environment for the children with disabilities (CWD).

It was formed to assist the children with disabilities in the attainment of their maximum functioning through a program of a community-based rehabilitation; provide a program of self -development and social integration through outdoor camping activities; support the CWD in their quest to achieve their maximum performance through games for the differently-abled; facilitate training towards productivity and self-sufficiency through vocational and income - generating projects; provide vocational trainings to the parents of CWD; provide CBR training for volunteers, caregiver and student affiliates; and accept donations and raise funds from public and private sectors to support the various projects of the foundation.

The Security and Exchange Commission [SEC] issued Registration Number CN 200306216 on March 14, 2003. The DSWD Certification of Registration was also issued shortly thereafter. The Pag-sa ng Batang may Kapansanan Foundation Incorporated [PBKFI] is otherwise known as “Hope for Children with Disabilities.”
