Northern Tacloban City National High School

Pursuant to Republic Act 9155,otherwise known as the “Governance of Basic Education Act 2010” the Northern Tacloban City National High School was granted a permit to operate 1st to 4th year levels secondary education curriculum effective year 2010-2011 as independent school.
The desire to attain the DepEd vision and mission challenging nowadays because of the many constraints, that happened after the devastation caused by Typhoon Yolanda when NTCNHS being the sole secondary school in the Northern Barangay to accommodate the overwhelming increase of new enrollees and transferees who are now accommodated in the transitional shelters near the school premises.

The school is trying its best to meet the needs for development by providing an avenue for the youth to become dynamic individuals towards the interest of building a strong nation ready to face the reality in the era of globalization as anchored in the K to 12 curriculum.
