YOUR ITINERARY IN BRIEF:

THE EVE OF DAY 1: You leave Manila on the night bus at your own expense.
DAY 1: Arrive in Banaue, visit Batad, sleep in Banaue.
Day 2: Visit Bontoc and Sagada, sleep in Sagada.
Day 3: See more of Sagada, Bontoc, and Banaue. Depart Banaue on the 8PM bus to Manila. (ticket price included in package and seats pre-purchased).

PRONUNCIATION: Most Malay languages give stress to the second syllable so Banaue is pronounced "Bah NOW way". Similarly Batad is "Bah TAHD"; Hungduan is "Hung DEW an"; Mayoyao is "Mah YO ya oh".

10:00 PM Departure from Manila to Banaue via Ohayami or Florida bus

Day 1
7:00 AM Arrival in Banaue
8:00 AM Breakfast
9:00 AM Off to Batad via private transport where you will enjoy a nature trek through the lush forests of Batad, walk the famed amphitheatre-like rice terraces, then be amazed by the Tappiyah waterfalls
1:00 PM Tappiyah Waterfalls
4:00 PM Back to the guest house for rest and relaxation

6:30 PM Dinner time at your own expense. We recommend you try “pinikpikan”, the highland’s native delicacy
8:00 PM Witness a cultural show performed by local talents in Banaue Hotel (depending on availability; shows are not presented daily)

Day 2
7:00 AM Breakfast
8:00 AM Depart to Sagada with stops at Banaue Viewpoint, Mt. Polis, Bayyo rice terraces, and the Bontoc museum
1:00 PM Lunch
2:30 PM Walk to Echo Valley and Hanging Coffins, and town proper tour; Orange picking (this is a seasonal option since oranges are not ripe for picking at all times)
6:30 PM Dine and stay over in Sagada

Day 3
7:00 AM Breakfast
8:30 AM Off to Sumaguing cave with a quick stop over to view the hanging coffins and the burial cave along the way
11:00 AM Back to the hotel to freshen up and to check out
11:30 AM Brief stop at Sagada Weaving on the way to Banaue

2:30 PM Back to Banaue with free time at viewpoint and town proper for buying souvenirs.
