Morning Walsh Resort - El Nido

A newly opened privately run boutique hotel on the water front of Corong Corong Beach, El Nido Palawan Island.

What was once a private vacation home on the water front with a beautiful painstakingly landscaped garden started to receive lots of requests to rent out her home to holiday goers but for years they declined and told people it was a private property.

Nelma and her husband bought the property and started building in 2007. When the first in arrived in El Nido there was nothing but coconut trees and bush lands. Their home was a great labour of love and this was evident to walkers by who stopped by to admire the garden and house. The view from the beach onto the property stand outs with the lavish wooden windows and furniture and the detailed paving, garden and plants that surround the property.

From January 2016 Nelma proudly opened up a new section to the property with a new building with 6 rooms with hand selected features from the tiles to the linen, bedding and towels. Each room also has its own unique ornate ceiling for each room. Many of the furnishings, doors and windows have been hand carved by local artisans and specially created coconut shell flooring. The main house also has four independent rooms, these can be rented as an entire home with a kitchen available for both upstairs and downstairs.

You really need only take a step onto the property and not only will it stand out on its own merit but then in comparison to other properties in El Nido it really is a hidden gem.
