Mennens Gift Mart

Opened in 1967, Mennens Gift Mart started out as an apparel retail store, expanding later to include many lines of items. Mennens was the first department store to sign up dealership of international brands like Levi’s, Oakley, Timex, Dockers, Converse, The Body Shop, and Nike; and popular local local brands like Bench, Human, and now recently Islands Souvenirs. To avoid congestion in its old store, Mennens opened in 2012 the posh five-storey 1 MGM building for its new department store. Mennens plans to renovate its old location into a high-end lifestyle center open to leasing by popular national companies.
