Magugpo Pilot Central Elementary School

The Magugpo Pilot Central Elementary School was established and started its operation in 1933 with one grade level and one teacher. At present the school has a total population of Six Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-Six (6,236) students with one hundred eighteen classes from Preschool to Grade Six. There are one hundred thirty competent teachers and ably supervised by Elementary School Principal III. The school is geographically situated right in the heart of the City of Tagum and belongs to Barangay South. The Local Government Unit through the Local School Board donated three-storey building that cater to the increasing population of the school children.

Due to its strategic location, the school caters to the different status of families, 60% are daily wage earner-driver/market vendor and 40% are in engaged in business or other professional practitioners.
The school offers its clients, the students, with complete elementary education that will hone their learning capabilities packed with values. The school with its thrusts in reaching out to those Out of School offers learning opportunities through the Alternative Learning System duly sponsored by the Local Government Unit and the Division of Tagum City. With its increasing population, the school maximizes the full potential of the students through different academic and non-academic activities with the collaboration of the stakeholders.

The school strengthens the professional and training development through constant training of its teachers to improve the delivery of quality basic education.
