Luzon Technical Institute

The Luzon Technical Institute was founded in 1948 by a son of San Antonio Dr. Agustin Rodolfo and his wife Sophie, with the help of townmates including Eng. Fortunato Evangelista, Mr. Gabriel Guerrero, Mr. Lucrecio Evangelista and Mr. Andres Araniego. The purpose was to offer a good high school education to the capable youth of the town, not only as preparation for college study but also for training in the construction of carprentry and home economics projects that would further improve the quality of their life.

Over twenty years later, Dr. Agustin Rodolfo set up the Rodolfo Educational Foundation (REF) to support the school as a non-stock non-profit non-sectarian institution. After he passed away in 1978, his second daughter Dr. Sigrid S. Rodolfo accepted the position of school director. After her time is up, governing will be by board representing the members of LTI Inc.
