ARTICLES OF FAITH

1. We believe the Holy Bible (also known as Scriptures) is the infallible word of God. It is the verbal inspiration and revelation of Himself to man. It contains the Old and New Testament written for authoritative rule of faith and conduct.

2. We believe the ONE true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent “I AM,” the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind. He has further revealed Himself embodying the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Although the terms “trinity” and “persons” are related to the Godhead, while not found in the Scriptures, are words in harmony with the Scriptures. Therefore, we believe the Trinity as the Father is God, the Son is God and the Holy Spirit is God yet we have only one God.

3. We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He came to earth to become the Savior of the world and was born of a virgin, died on the cross, rose from the dead and return to heaven.

4. We believe that out of nothing, God made the universe; the elements; the plants; the animals (to produce each after its kind); and finally, man in the image and likeness of God.

5. We believe that all have sinned and in need of a Savior and that salvation is by repentance of sins and faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

Man, who was created good and upright, fell into sin and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death which is separation from God.

Salvation is received through repentance of sins and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. By washing of regeneration and receiving of the Holy Spirit, being justified by grace through faith, man becomes heir of God according to the hope of eternal life.

The inward evidence of salvation is the direct witness of the Holy Spirit and the outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness.

6. We believe that there are two ordinances that Christ instituted for the Church to observe. These are the ordinance of baptism by immersion in the water and the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper.

The ordinance of baptism by immersion in water is commanded by the Scriptures to all who repent and believe in Christ as Savior and Lord. Thus, they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and that they also have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life.

The Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements of the bread and the fruit of the vine, is the symbol of expressing our sharing the divine nature of the Lord Jesus Christ. A memorial of His suffering and death, a prophecy of His second coming and is enjoined by all the believers until Jesus comes.

7. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4. It is given to a believer who asks for it. This experience gives him the power to be witness unto Christ as manifested by his life and words.

8. We believe sanctification is an act of separation from that which is evil and is a dedication of oneself unto God.

The Scriptures teach that every believer must live a life of holiness through the power of the Holy Spirit. By sanctification, every child of God will be able to attain Christ –likeness.

9. We believe the Church is established by Christ and is made up of all true believers with a Godly ministry to lead others to Christ.

God’s plan for financing the work of His Church is through the paying of tithes and contribution in the form of gifts, donation and offerings by all members. The Church can advance in its mission of evangelization and in ministry to the Body of Christ.

10. We believe that divine healing is an integral part of the gospel and that deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement – a privilege for all the believers.

11. We believe in the resurrection of the dead in Christ and their translation together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord. It is blessed hope of the Church.

The word “rapture” cannot be found in the Scriptures but it signifies the translation of all who trust in Christ. The rapture of the Church allows the wrath of God to be poured out to the earth.

12. We believe that when Jesus returns to the earth, He will defeat Satan and establish a thousand year of reign of universal peace and prosperity.

The Second Coming is a return of Christ with His saints to reign on the earth for one thousand years.

13. We believe in the final judgement of the wicked dead. They will be raised and judged according to their works and whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life together with the devil and his angels, the beast (Anti –Christ) and the false prophets, will partake the everlasting punishment in the lake burning with fire and brimstone.

14. We believe God’s creation marred by sin will be totally restored in the establishment of the new heavens and new earth.
