How to get there?

Starting point could be in Tungkong Mangga as it is the known Barangay in San Jose Del Monte and it is where you can ride a jeepney
going to Licao Licao - your entry point for hiking.

If you are from Manila or Quezon City, Buses and/or Jeepneys are available going to Tungko or Tungkong Mangga. Signboards are Sapang Palay, Bigte, Igay, Palmera, Francisco Homes and TUNGKO. Just ask the driver to drop you by at Tungko.

Once you're in Tungko, you can then ask where the terminal going to Licao Licao is. its just located near Banco De Oro. Then drop by at Licao Licao terminal.

From Licao Licao you can take a walk going to Veterans or ride a tricycle worth 25 pesos. Walking would take around 30 to 40 minutes.

From veterans - Stop over of tricycles, you can continue walking going to Helipad - the Summit of the Mt. Balagbag Mountain.

Transportation fare from Tungko to Licao Licao is 27 pesos.

Tricylce is worth 25 pesos from Licao Licao to Veterans (if wanted).

Before you reach Veterans, you may want to visit the Kaytitinga Falls ( Entrance fee is 15 pesos )

From Helipad pathway, you can enter a gate going to the Summit for better Views. Registration is worth 20 pesos.

-- Reminders --
From Veterans up to the Summit ( Helipad ), pathways are curved and the floors has scattered medium sized rocks. Wearing of Rubber Shoes is highly recommended.

If you prefer to walk, the time you may spend on walking from Licao Licao to veterans is roughly 40 minutes and from Veterans to Helipad is roughly 2 hours.

There were stores and entrances to some attractions that wouldn't be able to have a change for higher bills. You better have smaller bills or coins with you for hassle free adventure.
