This is my life as a digital artist.
2009 - 2010
I was studying animation in the institute of technical education as there were no real illustration course back in the time, I had no choice but to choose something close and related.

I owe a lot to my friend Khairulnizam for teaching me how to draw an get me into my first painting.

I didn't really draw much in school and did around 5 pieces of digital work in the last 6 months in school to (Warcraft mainly). So I can go to a Polytechnic and get a diploma in animation( that is the only thing they got at the time and I have no choice but to choose.)

After prepping my portfolio I went for an interview to hopefully get a place in the polytechnic i wanted to get in.When it was my turn to interview the interviewer was kinda cocky and told me why not serve the nation (in Singapore we have to serve national service for 2 years and i was 18 years old at that time) and I thought to my self why not serve first so i can get this obstacle done with?

2011-2013
I only do 1 art piece every 1-2 months in this span of two years (slacking real bad)
I finished my national service and 3dsense opened up their illustration course (the thing that i really want to study) together with my favorite local artists Artgerm, Kai and Kunkka!

2014
I prepped my new portfolio and I was accepted into the school with my friend and bro of over 10 years and I was really happy that we got in and met really wonderful people from different backgrounds but with all the same interest in Illustration! This was the year that I really really got serious and start thinking about my career in the future. With so many already skilled students still wanting to push the limit I too want to be just like them and work hard!

So thanks to the interviewer that rejected me and thanks to 3dsense Media School for accepting me! I Guess this was fate!
