Plan of Salvation
Are things right between you and God?
There is a way to be sure that things are right!
1. Understand the problem.
The problem is that we are sinners.
• As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one(Romans 3:10)
• For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God(Romans 3:23)
2. Understand God’s answer.
God’s answer to our sin problem is Jesus.
• But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)
• This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners (I Timothy 1:15)
3. Understand faith is what makes it real in your life.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
• That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (Romans 10:9)
• For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.(Romans 10:10)
4. Understand that salvation is yours for the asking.
• For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)
