Kudat Golf Club Restaurant

Restaurant Chen Fu is a sole proprietorship. It is owned and directed by Mr.Wong. It was started in the year of 1992 and now is located at Kudat Golf Club, Jalan Pantai, Kudat, Sabah.
The owner of the restaurant, Mr.Wong was incharged of the kitchen and manager, His wife was incharged of the dining area. Mr.Wong first started this business at the shop, near Jalan Pakka then after a year into the business, he was asked by one of his friends, who was a manager of Kudat Golf Club to open up a restaurant at the club, so he moved his restaurant to Kudat Golf Club.
The restaurant is located inside of the Golf Club. There are two dining area, an outdoor and indoor dining . The outdoor and indoor dining area can fit in more than 100 people and besides that, the restaurant also has a room with air conditioners and a television where customers or golfers can relax or watch golf programs. The restaurant also has a scenic view where customers are able to witness the nature in the forest.
The foods and drinks menu was created and organized by Mr.Wong, himself and this restaurant mainly serve sea foods and the open hour is from 8 A.M. until 11 P.M and also Restaurant Chen Fu consumed many types of seafood, such as, prawn, crab, squid, cuttlefish, clams, cockles, snails, sea cucumber and octopus.
Restaurant Chen Fu started its business in the year of 1992 by the director of the restaurant, Mr.Wong. When Mr.Wong was 16 years old , he finished his studies and went to Kota Kinabalu to became a chef. After a few years of learning at different places, he was transferred to Sandakan to start his first job as a chef then he decided and went back to Kudat to opened up his own restaurant.
Restaurant Chen Fu first opened at Jalan Pakka for a year then he moved his restaurant to Kudat Golf Club at Jalan Pantai. Until now, it is still being located at Kudat Golf Club for 19 years.
For the passed 19 years, restaurant Chen Fu are becoming more and more popular with tourists, honoured people such as Y. B. Teo Chee Kang and Datuk Chong Kah Ket , and celebrity, such as Abu Bakar Era and Danny Koo had visited the restaurant.
