Kasiglahan Village National High School, established in June 11, 2000, is situated in the heart of the village of Kasiglahan, a housing project of former President Joseph Estrada, where most students are relocaties from different cities of Metro Manila, such as Pasig, Quiapo, San Juan, Quezon City and Santa Ana. This school was one of the former annexes of General Licerio Geronimo Memorial National High School under the supervision of Mrs. Maria A. Barrameda who was the principal then.

The National Housing Authority allowed the use of 13 row house units as temporary classroom. First Year had 7 sections, Second Year had 4 sections, Third Year had 3 sections and 1 section in the Fourth Year. Aside from these rooms, school was provided with library, canteen, guidance office, male faculty room and CAT room. School held 2 sessions, A.M. and P.M. sessions, all First Year and Fourth Year were in the morning session and Second Year and Third Year were in the afternoon session. Mrs. Clarita C, Nocon, TIC managed the school for almost 3 years, from S.Y. 2000-2002, and became the principal on S.Y. 2002.

In S.Y. 2000-2001, the school population was 667 and there were only 10 pioneer teachers namely: Mrs. Rowena R. Mandap, Mrs. Glenda C. Jamero, Mr. Edgardo G. Santos, Mrs. Erminilda N Torres, Mrs. Daisy S. Jesalva, Ms. Leni M. Carasco, Mr. Cayetano R. Rances III, Mr. Marcelo D. Nicolas Jr. III. Mr. Rolando Macaranas and Ms. Asuncion S. Rosal.

In the middle of S.Y. 2001-2002, 4 teachers were hired because of the increase in population. During that year, 5 rooms in elementary building were occupied by the high school students . S.Y. 2002-2003, due to the rapid growth of student population 15 new teachers having national item position were hired and 3 more end units of row houses were utilized as school building to accommodate the growing needs of the students.

Mr. Ricardo C. Vergara took over as school principal from July to Nov. 2003, 8 volunteer teachers were hired and additional 4 classrooms building situated at Phase ID of Kasiglahan Village were donated to address spontaneous growth of population of student in school.

December 2003, The newly designated principal was assigned to this school in the person of Mr. Remegio B. Olesco. There were 2,800 students and 33 teachers. KVNHS to conduct 3 shift classes having 30 minutes program instruction (except for the science subject) to cope with the situation.

S.Y. 2006-2007 up to S.Y. 2009-2010, KVNHS under.went significant changes School performance in DAT and NAT increases, the student population significantly increased from 2000 up to 4000 and the number of school personnel double up, from 33 to 85 teaching personnel plus additional 22 non teaching personnel. All of these happened under the second time administration of Mrs. Clarita C. Nocon.

S.Y. 2010-2011, the KVNHS is headed by Mrs. Maria Cristina C. Camarse and at present the school is undertaking curriculum development, improvement of facilities and teachers empowerment
