Jesus Good Shepherd School had a humble beginning. In 1965, in response to the clamor of parents to have their children educated in a catholic school, the Pastorelle Sisters inaugurated the first Kindergarten and Grade One classes in Imus in the two rooms in the Bishop's residence. The first regular schoolday was on Kuly 7, 1965 when it welcomed 132 boys and gilrs. Since then, a new grade had been added each year.

There was a need for more classrooms. The old garage had to be transformed into another classroom. The school population grew and the possibility to transfer to a more suitable place was considered. The dream was made possible when in 1969, the new school building was inaugurated in Palico, Imus, Cavite. Over few years, from a secluded hall and garage, Jesus Good Shepherd School grew into a progressive catholic school for boys and girls.

Today, the physical plant has grown at an amazing pace. Its curricular offerings constantly undergo modifications and updating. It has been the school's policy to prepare the pupils in facing the demands of the modern world.

Jesus Good Shepherd School has maintained her simplicity and friendliness. Her family spirit continue to bring to each pupil the joy of growing not only in the intellect but above all in the image and likeness of Jesus Good Shepherd.
