INAGAWAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL was founded on 1969 , as Barangay High School in the leadership of the late Dr. Anthuro S. Carlos, Provincial Board Member of Palawan. It was headed by Mrs. Genoveva Bagaoisan with 6 teachers from 1st to 3rd year due to insufficient fund of the barangay, the school was closed on SY 1972-1973.
By SY 1974-1975, the school was re- organized by Mrs. Genoveva Bagaoisan as the assistant Principal of the school with the help of Barangay Chairman Roman Carlos with 2 teachers, Mrs. Norma E. Dela Cruz, and Celia Simpliciano and started with oner year Curriculum year level. The first year with 60 enrollees, then it increases as the year goes by.
In 1979, the school had a complete curriculum year from 1st year to 4th year under the supervision of the Principal, Mrs. Adoracion C. Doria. On March 1980, the first batch finally graduated. On January 1989, the school was integrated to the Palawan National School under Republic Act 6765 authored by the late speaker Ramon V. Mitra.
