GK Esteban - Gawad Kalinga village

Gawad Kalinga Esteban Village started six years ago thru the effort of my late dad Romulo E. Aquino and Tito Hayee Azana the lot was donated by my uncles Manuel Esteban and Dr. Granwel Esteban both Ragayanos who are based in United States of America now The village is one community housing 84 families we have a Chapel donated by Dr.Sonny Genio ,we have a Patron saint STo.Nino (child Jesus) feast day isevery 3rd Sunday of January.we have a clinic donated by McClelland family evry wednesday a government nurse come to visit the village. Just recently a a classroom for Sibol Kids was donated adjacent to it is a library.we also partnered with different organization school or community based for feeding program for the kids in the village.The village also have a bayan anihan a garden of vegetables for mothers to augment the food necesities of their family.Gawad Kalinga is growing community i cannot to this alone without the help of my generous friends and my supportive community. Struggle with todays challenge is inevitable but with the support from people like you our dream for a better Philippines will be a reality. Emma Aquino, PD
