Gawad Pag-asa International, Inc

A nonprofit organization based in Davao City, duly registered with the Philippines Securities Exchange Commission, with the Registration Number of CN2016155777.

The organization takes its name from the Filipino word ‘gawad' meaning, to award or give and 'pag-asa' meaning, hope. So we want to give hope to the underprivileged.

Self-sustaining community where the underprivileged have the opportunity to achieve their full potential

Purposes of the Organization

To build a self-sustaining community that will: 1) provide healthy and nutritious food for the less privileged through the establishment of an organic farm

2) provide housing with proper sanitation and hygiene for the poor and economically disadvantaged within the community

3) establish a world-class educational facility that will provide first-class education and high quality trainings to poor and promising students from within and outside the self-sustaining community


4) establish a state-of-the-art healthcare facility that will also run healthcare-related programs and campaigns within and outside the community

5) provide sources of livelihood, business or investment opportunities to qualified individuals and/or families within and outside the community

6) build a versatile sanctuary that will meet the spiritual needs of the people within and outside the community

7) take advantage of environment-friendly technologies and facilities within and outside the community

Gawad Pag-asa International, Inc first started as Eunoeo International, Inc in 2015. Maricel Valeza, the founder of Eunoeo International, Inc met with two other friends who also wanted to have their own NGO. Since all of them share the same passion to help out the underprivileged, they decided to join forces and work together as one. Thus Gawad Pag-asa International, Inc was born.
