Food for Hungry Minds (Hungry Minds) bridges global divides to provide high performance educational initiatives for disadvantaged children, empowering and inspiring them to succeed in life.
Hungry Minds mobilizes the resources and expertise needed to give children from the world’s poorest communities with high quality and bilingual education that prepares them for a lifetime of success and service. The organization was incorporated in Minnesota, in 2003, and is recognized as a 501(c)3 organization. A local Food for Hungry Minds organization was incorporated in the Philippines in 2004 as a non-profit educational institution.
Hungry Minds provides education by creating schools for disadvantaged children. We link regional corporate resources with local organizations to develop high-performance educational interventions for upper elementary grades—giving a community’s poorest children the opportunity to prosper academically through high-quality education, with the end goal of fostering career and life success.
Vision
Through quality education, we give hope to one child, one classroom, and one corner of the
world at a time.
