Family Child Development School

The Family Child Development School is formerly known as the Family Child Development Center since its establishment in 1988. It is the first non-sectarian private school to offer courses for toddlers ages 2 ½ years old up to 6 years old during its initial operation. Its enrolment increased rapidly because of the growing demand of the parents who were more than satisfied with their children’s education at FCDC. In response to this demand grew the Family Child Development School, Inc. wherein from its meager two rooms during its initial operation, it has expanded into a three-storey building offering courses for Pre-Elementary, Elementary, Junior and Senior High School, and its newly accredited Technical-Vocational courses
ACADEMIC PROGRAMS
The academic programs at Family Child Development School are anchored in the vision and mission of the institution and the Expected School-wide Learning Results (ESLR). The core academic disciplines are both taught for their intrinsic value and to build healthy, responsible, tolerant thinkers and communicators who are prepared to meet a rapidly changing world. A preparatory program is ensured through a highly qualified faculty, regular departmental reviews, regular staff development and a variety of external assessments such as National Achievement Test (NAT), Nat’l Career Assessment Exam(NCAE), DepEd’s Diagnostic Test, Progress Test and Summative Test.
Despite the many requirements of our program, we pride ourselves on meeting the needs of individual pupils and students. Our English as a Second Language, Special Needs and Guidance Program are some of the ways that we provide our pupils and students with a balance school life in which emotional, social and spiritual development are viewed as important factors of success.
