Jon is an independent freelance make-up artist who is self-taught and driven to dedicate a career out of the art of make-up. He worked as a Medical Representative for 3 years but decided to pursue his passion in the fields of fashion & beauty.
At the age of 20, Jon was already fascinated with faces--the emotions, balance, beauty and flaws. He was always visualizing how a woman could be more beautiful and better communicate who she truly was through the art of makeup.
From looks to appear at an event, to creative photo shoot styles, to glamorous weddings, to eye-catching advertising and prints, he is always motivated and inspired to create artistically beautiful looks on his clients.
Jon's creative and breathtaking work has been featured in local & international media and magazines, in addition to TV, corporate events, conventions, shows, commercials and print ads. His client list has grown to include some of the most beautiful and famous women in the country.
In 2013, he started extending his career & skills from make-up to wedding & events coordination, prenup styling and event styling to his own beauty salon, the Event Estudio Salon by Jon Marcelino. He is also the resident hair & makeup artist, event coordinator and stylist of La Castellana.
