De La O Rural Bank, Inc. - Pangil, Laguna

The organization of DE LA O RURAL BANK, INC. was formally formed by goup of seven (7). After meeting for several times the group started to accomplish their respective bio-data and completed all necessary documents to meet the requirement for the establishment/organization of Rural Bank. The organizers put-up their capital investment until it has been approved last February 11, 1998 and started its operation on September 3, 1998.

De La O Rural Bank, Inc. as it has been created, performs any or all of the following services:

1. Extend loans and advances primarily for the purpose of meeting the normal credit needs of farmer, fisherman or farm families as well as cooperatives, merchants, private and public employees;

2. Accept savings and time deposits;

3. Rediscount papers with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and or Land Bank of the Philippines. Said banks shall specify the nature of paper deemed acceptable for rediscount, as well as the rediscount rate to be charged by any of these bank;

4. Act as collection agent;

5. Offer other banking services as provided in Section 72 of R.A. No. 337 as amended.
