College of Mary Immaculate

The College of Mary Immaculate was first established by a young Ateneo graduate in 1981 as The Immaculate Conception Child Development Center (ICCDC) in Pandi, Bulacan where she was born. The town, about an hour’s drive from Manila, is a rural province where farming, embroidery, livestock-raising, and furniture-making are the main source of income for the industrious and hard-working locals. Good quality education is the dream of most parents in this town, but due to the distance of good schools, many families previously found it too expensive. ICDDC was able to provide the town of Pandi first-rate quality education at affordable prices.
The school initially offered preparatory, grade school and high school education. But due to the need and demand for high-quality college education in the town, ICDDC developed a college program in 2002 and the school was renamed as College of Mary Immaculate (CMI). The college now has hundreds of students and offers technical/vocational and Bachelor of Science courses.
