About Botanica

Botanica Health and Wellness Marketing Incorporated is a company which is committed to contribute to the upliftment of the health and wellness well-being of every Filipino young and old. Originally established as Asia Pacific Healthy Living in 2008 but then geared towards direct selling, the brand KAFFE BOTANICA has gained solid market acceptance within the provinces of the Philippines. In order to gain wider and stronger market reach, the company has restructured and gave birth to Botanica Health and Wellness Marketing Inc. Established in September 12, 2012, Botanica has been collaborating with ISO and GMP certified manufacturing companies to produce a wide range of wellness products including health drinks and personal care products. These products are made available to the market to allow every consumer to access quality yet affordable health and wellness items. The company’s current head office is located at 203 TARA Residences Tandang Sora, Quezon City.

Botanica Health and Wellness is actively involved in identifying and developing new entities including natural products for commercialization in the healthcare market. Botanica Health and Wellness places great emphasis on development of natural food supplements with a focus on developing health beverages such as coffee and tea – these products aim to improve health through natural ingredients of each consumer who will patronize our products. This is in parallel with our mission to provide high quality, up-to- date healthcare products at an affordable price to the communities we operate in.

In Botanica product development, products are formulated based on current market needs and requirements. In manufacturing, Botanica Health and Wellness is involved strategically with several large companies in developing and manufacturing its premium products to assure that expected quality and standards are executed and maintained. In research of natural ingredients, new active plant compounds identified are extracted to develop standardized extracts using high technology methods then utilized in creating innovative, leading edge product formulations with the ultimate goal of improving the well-being of its consumers.

One of the proudest moments for Botanica Health and Wellness was when KAFFE BOTANICA was awarded the 2009 OUTSTANDING ORGANIC COFFEE BRAND in August 29, 2009 at the 11 th GLOBAL BRAND AND GLOBAL EXCELLENCE AWARDS in Prince Plaza Hotel, Baguio City, Philippines. It was indeed an honour for us, as we continue to strive in this arena.

A relatively young company that started as a trading entity in direct selling business, Botanica Health and Wellness aims to move wider markets with stronger distribution network through the traditional channels of supermarkets and drugstores. The company then went from direct selling migrating to traditional channel distribution in order to bring its innovative products to a greater number of people.

Botanica Health and Wellness believes that their people are the force and strength behind its initial market success. Efforts are concentrated on developing young talents who are interested in enhancing their talent and
interest in sales and marketing. However, the commitment and competence of its management are keys to the development of the people within the organization.

Management of Botanica Health and Wellness is being handled by Dr. Genesis P. Lapira as President of the company. Dr. Lapira is a professor and educator who have 25 years of experience as an academe. He is also a successful entrepreneur who is engaged in direct sales of health and wellness products for the past 10 years. He is ably assisted by his wife, Gigi Anne M. Lapira as Senior Vice President of the company. Ms. Lapira has strong experience in corporate management being a past President of a multinational company in a separate industry. She is very strong in business development, sales and marketing and finance. Aside from Botanica, she is now an entrepreneur who manages her own companies who are equally successful in their own rights. She is also a President of other esteemed companies in other industries such as Asia Pacific Form and Structure Inc, a company involved in interior design contracting/ installation for hotels, resorts, commercial and residential projects and Asiana Global Properties Inc, a company involved in the property development of quality communities for the retirement market. Other members of the team are Ms. Rebecca Esguerra who is currently handling the sales and marketing campaign of the company. Ms. Esguerra has more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing.

Botanica Health and Wellness has formed strategic partnerships with notable institutions of higher learning for product research and development. Botanica Health and Wellness is the proud owner of several trademarks and copyrights including its own brand and icons which are found on their product packaging.

Though still at its infancy stages, Botanica Health and Wellness believes in the importance of giving back to society. As a company we contribute by teaching to the less fortunate members of the Quezon City community. We
are also utilized as a training and internship center for both private and public institutions of higher learning.
