Bonifacio Elementary School is one of the farthest schools in the district of Unisan which is about 13 kms. away from the town proper.
The school was established on 1946 and the lot of the school was donated by the past Doña Josefa Batao Ilocario on January 24, 1948 with 5,881 square meters wide.
The first building serve as their classroom was created by the people lives there that made in their own materials like bamboo, anahaw and dahon ng niyog. That time the Tenyente del Barrio was Cristobal Gabuco. Many of the pupils come from the barangay itself and its nearest catchment area like Brgy. Ilayang Rizal, Brgy. Poctol, Brgy. Mabini in Unisan, Quezon; and Brgy. Villa Victoria, Brgy. M.H. del Pilar and Brgy. Bungahan in Gumaca, Quezon.
The pioneer teachers were Dominga Jaurigue, Roncesvalle de Jesus, Laling Veran de Jesus, Celing Veran Marquez, Clarita Tolentino, Remedios Etorma Suarez, Helen Salvador, Rosita Mendoza, Rosario de Jesus, Bb. Buendia, G. Limus, Adelina Atienza, and Corazon de Jesus.
After so many years, the first concrete building with two classrooms was donated by President Ferdinand Marcos it was called Marcos Type Building, that time their Kapitan del Barrio was Simon Jaurigue.
In the year of 2000 the other new building was established with the help of President Fidel Ramos, that time their barangay captain was Andres T. Pamplona. As of now, there are three classrooms in the school and four nationally funded teachers.
