Biñan City Culture, History, Arts and Tourism Office

There is a need to address our City Government’s commitment to cultural, historical, artistic and tourism heritage conservation and preservation since Biñan is placed in the nation’s history as one of the earliest towns in the archipelago.

Atty. Walfredo R. Dimaguila Jr., City Mayor of Biñan ordered the creation of the Biñan City Culture, History, Arts and Tourism Office (BCHATO) under the Office of the City Mayor through the Executive Order 2016-04. The creation of BCHATO will help in the enrichment and promotion of the City of Biñan's cultural, historical, artistic and tourism heritage.

The Sangguniang Panlungsod ng Biñan passed City Ordinance 12-2016 establishing BCHATO as the tourism and cultural affairs department of the City Government of Biñan.

VISION:
A City that is aware of its cultural, historical and artistic heritage towards a sustainable tourism.
