BETA ALPHA CHI Fraternity

BETA ALPHA CHI. The Beta Alpha Chi is the first fraternity to be recognized in the College of Commerce of the University of Sto. Tomas formed in 1966 and officially recognized in 1968. Beta Alpha Chi is printed in the college prospectus issued to students during enrolment for reference. When Martial Law was declared all fraternity recognitions in universities and colleges were cancelled.

History. The Beta Alpha Chi was formally organized on January 8, 1968 in a meeting held at a coffee shop in Manila Hotel. The Greek Letter BAX stands for the initials of “Brotherhood Association in the College of Commerce” was formally adopted. The Grand Chancellor heads the fraternity.
