Barangay Kaylaway

BARANGAY kAYLAWAY was first known as GULOD. The name BARANGAY KAYLAWAY originated from a traditional healer using his saliva (panglalaway). It was another way of quackery or "Doctor Quack".
Before it was named KAYLAWAY, this place only have an old man called 'Ka Laway' who treats sickness using his saliva. That old man gets famous for his healing skills which causes residents from other barrios and cities to come over and witness the magic Ka Laway has. Later on, the people got used of saying Ka Laway when someone asks them where they were going... and then the name Kaylaway started.
