Wizard's Wink Hobby Shop & Café

Our community started way back in the early 90's when a group of Magic: The Gathering and AD&D players banded together in the humble hobby shops of Ed Henson and then followed by Dragon's Lair (owned by Tony Ayson), where organized and competitive play was introduced. Following Dragon's Lair, the community was sheltered by The Hub (owned by Marc Allan David) and Cygen (owned by Mark Heruela).

Wizard's Wink Hobby shop started in the year 2012 as a community based hobby shop with the help of Ronel Maliwat as the head organizer/Admin of the community and Allen Capulong who provided the location for the shop.

* What is Magic: The Gathering?

Magic: The Gathering is the world’s premiere trading card game. Players take on the role of Planeswalkers—powerful mages who battle others for glory, knowledge, and conquest. Their weapons include spells, creatures, and artifacts gathered from a vast multiverse of unique fantasy worlds.

* What is Dungeons & Dragons?

Dungeons & Dragons is the game that started the entire roleplaying game category. And D&D remains at the pinnacle of fantasy RPGs, offering the excitement of imaginative, shared storytelling and lots of social interaction—both in the game and around the table.

Players take on the role of the characters—heroes exploring a medieval fantasy world whose goals are to complete quests, explore ancient ruins and dungeons, fight monsters, find treasure, and become more powerful. One member of the group, the Dungeon Master (DM), creates, narrates and referees the game. Together, the DM and the characters bring the game to life.

*Cardfight Vanguard

A card game based on the anime was released sometime after the anime hit Japan. An English version of the game is produced in Singapore and has also been released internationally.
