The Orchard Golf & Country Club

Nestled in what used to be a mango orchard in Cavite, 27km Southwest of Manila, The Orchard Golf & Country Club is a membership club that was established to promote social, educational and sports activities among its members and guests.

The Orchard is known as the home of two 18-hole championship golf courses designed by golfing legends, Arnold Palmer and Gary Player. The golf courses are located in and amongst a residential community that is surrounded by wildlife and the natural countryside.

The Palmer Course is a traditional parkland layout that curves its way through groves of stately mango trees and protected by deep lakes and huge bunkers while Player Course is heathland type layout with its rolling fairways, deep bunkers and strong winds reminiscent of Scotland courses.

The world-renowned Johnnie Walker Classic golf spectacular was immediately booked at The Orchard upon its inauguration in 1995, bringing such international stars as Freddie Couples, Nick Price, Greg Norman, Ernie Els, Seve Ballesteros, Colin Montgomery, Miguel Angle Jimenez, and many others to grace The Orchard’s opening. The Orchard continues to host national tournaments which include the National Amateur Match Play Championships among many others.

The Orchard also takes pride of its 15,000 square meter clubhouse which has:

• 500-seater ballroom with capacity for cocktail party of above 1,000 persons
• Function rooms for corporate meetings, trainings, conferences and other social gatherings
• 150-seater theater


It also has its own sports and recreational facilities such as:

Moreover, The Orchard continues to ingrain green agenda into business as it continues to be the most environmentally responsible and best value golf & country club in the country through its exemplary implementation of sustainability practices such as ecological solid waste management, golf course sustainability program, adopt-a-river project and climate change mitigation initiatives. It was also cited by the Zero Carbon Resorts Project as an Eco Habitat providing refuge for bird and wild life sanctuaries and just last year, it was awarded Custodian of the Environment by the Asia Pacific Golf Group.
