SHEPHERD Drug Rehabilitation is put by the shared efforts of Manuel C. Benitez, May Ofelia C. Benitez, Francisco C. Benitez and a group of service oriented individuals. The setting up of the SHEPHERD was prompted by numerous requests from parents of drug dependents who wants their children rehabilitated.

SHEPHERD operates and maintains the center with a rehabilitation team of health professionals (physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse, dentist, social worker and church worker, vocational educators and academicians. The center uses a multi-disciplinary team approach in rehabilitating drug dependents.
