Rob's Gastropub + Sports

Rob’s is the first British-themed Gastropub in Angeles City that serves great food
and great drinks along with great music and live sports at affordable prices. We chose to
label Rob’s as a Gastropub because it is a British term defined by the Oxford Dictionary
as “A pub that specializes in serving high-quality food.” The term seems to be most
fitting to the services we render which includes quality music, drinks and entertainment
for people of all ages. Besides being a gastropub, Rob’s also prioritizes the customers’
love for sports! We value this and fuel their passion for the games by giving them the
perfect environment to watch live games, be it golf, football or whatever sport, on
multiple flat screen televisions. For our customers 21 and over who opt to have a little
more fun, the Wild Aces Poker Sports Club is right next door, holding daily games of
good old-fashioned Texas Hold ‘Em Poker and Omaha. And lastly, for those who always
struggle with having to find a place to park? Have no fear, our Free Valet Parking
services are here!

Being the first British-themed Gastropub in Angeles City having had its soft opening
last November 29, 2014 and its grand opening on February 19, 2015, Rob’s values the
authenticity of the place to truly enable the customers to feel as if they were in a pub all
the way on the other side of the world and not just in any other ordinary establishment.
There are a few main pieces in the gastropub filled with framed vintage images that
always seem to catch the attention of our customers and ties the whole British get-up
together. One of these is our Big Red Telephone Booth. Where else would one be able
to find a telephone booth that also doubles as a place to store precious bottles of wine?
Only at Rob’s! Another eye-catcher would be The Underground light-up sign, though
most do not get the reference, this is yet another piece of Great Britain that we have
brought with us. The London Underground could be considered as the British
counterpart of the Subway in New York City and is a vital part of nearly all the locals‘
daily lives! Despite these, there are also intricate details that most do not notice in
Rob’s. One of these would be the golden seal on our Twinning’s box that is is lined with
lush velvet, this seal indicates its authenticity. Besides the British decor, Rob’s also has
a variety of traditional food eaten by the Brits available in our menu, some of them being
Bangers and Mash, Classic Fish and Chips and English Style Cottage Pie. A new
addition to the menu would also be Harry Potter’s famous Butterbeer, which would
definitely thrill the kiddos and Potterheads visiting Rob’s!
