The owner itself of Mom’s Kitchen, Ivy Bianca Alvarez Chua, grew up in the kitchen. Her love affair with desserts began at an early age. When she was young, she would frequently visit bakeshops nearby and was wholly fascinated not only by the sweet aromas of baked goodies but merely by the dedication of bakers in making and decorating various pastries. Ever since, she would start experimenting and baking in the kitchen. With her desire to explore more and make the most out of her culinary journey, she then studied at Heny Sison Culinary School in Quezon City where she pursued Essential Baking and Pastry Arts. Ivy’s experience and dedication to her craft made her realize that baking quality pastries does not happen overnight and takes not only time and experience but most importantly passion and love.
Driven by the only goal of satisfying our customers’ cravings for freshly baked pastries, delightful desserts and traditional home cooked meals, flourished a bakery café business in the heart of Lipa City in Batangas.
