Malolos Chorale Ensemble

Malolos City in Bulacan is known to be a home of renowned churches in the Philippines. If you happen to be at Santissima Parish in Malolos, Bulacan and you hear a melodious and heavenly choir singing, then, this is of the Malolos Chorale Ensemble.

The Malolos Chorale Ensemble (MCE) was founded in April 19, 1996 with the guidance of Musical Director German O. De Guzman. The choir is made up of young professionals and students with the same passion and vision to help and inspire other people and to serve the Lord through their music.
MCE has been rendering their inimitable music to several churches in Bulacan for the past 20 years. To date, they are fervently bequeathing their service at Santisima Trinidad Parish.
As one of the most dynamic and committed chorale group in the province of Bulacan, it has been a tradition for this group to convene a concert for a cause usually in the month of December to showcase their precious talent and encourage other individuals to appreciate and use their God given skills to help and serve other people. This also serves as an avenue to collect funds for their charity works and to continuously support the projects of their beloved parish.

Having been known as a vigorous group composed of enthusiast members, MCE also get invites to perform in different TV shows like Unang Hirit of GMA 7 and many others, national and international TV masses and even in several Corporate, Government and Non-Government Events. They are also proud to be part of the cast of the Blockbuster movie “9 Mornings” of Donita Rose and Piolo Pacual way back 2002.
The group has always been devoted about three things: serving our Almighty God, keeping each and every member close like a real family and doing the thing they love most and that is singing. These make the group withstand for the past 20 years.

These are also three of the primary reasons why they successfully represented Region III in the WOW Philippines Best of the Best National Chorale Competitions and why the group continues to be the pride of Malolos having won in several local and national competitions. To name a few, these are as follows:
The PAGCOR Krismal Karol Kantahan Chorale Competition – Grand Finalist for 2 consecutive years;The SSS National Chorale Competition - 1st place; Linggo ng Bulacan Chorale Competition - 1st place; Angel Radio Himig Pasko Competition - 1st runner up; Pulilan Bulacan Chorale Competition- 1st prize; Angat Chorale Competition - 1st prize; and DZMM Himig Simbang Gabi Chorale Competition - 1st runner up

MCE had been joining competitions from simple to much more prestigious ones and with their dedication and love of music, they continue to perform with unwavering enthusiasm strengthened by their solidarity.
