. The school site is 200 meters from La Paz Park (Plaza), one and a quarter kilometers from the heart of the city. Through the years, LPNHS has grown to its present school population of 2,230 students housed in four two storey buildings (proposed conversion to 3/F) and an additional building. The nationalization of all secondary schools in the country in 1989 triggered the tremendous progress of the school in physical plant, academic & cultural pursuits.
The K to 12 curriculum will be implemented effective this School Year 2012-2013 for the incoming freshmen while the remaining year levels will still be under Basic Education Curriculum. Likewise offered are the Night Class Curriculum and the Special Program in the Arts Curriculum.
