Kusina Juan Republika Restaurant, established in May 2016, prides itself with serving home cooked Filipino favorites, the way our “Nanay” does, with “TLC - Tender Loving Care. It is a venue for gatherings, be it special celebrations or simple meet ups with family, relatives and friends, where the ambiance is “Home away from home.” Specialties include Pinakbet Rice with Seafood, Sisig Manila or Sisig Pampanga, Krispy Garlic Hito, Krispy Spicy Squid, Krispy Pata and Gising-gising, to name a few.

Located at the Upper Ground Floor of 2Lazcano Place, you will be greeted by the Grand Dining Room. And as if transported in time, circa 1950s, the Grand Dining Room, “Komedor o Silid Kainan” (translated by Wikipedia) is an oversized air-conditioned room, graced with elegant chandeliers and pristine white walls draped with paintings. It seat 50 people, comfortably, and is equipped with a Big Television screen which features Old Manila, Cebu, Baguio and other cities during the late Twentieth Century.

The Veranda or “beranda o balkon o balkonahe” (translation :https://www.tagalog-dictionary.com) is the high-ceiling, open-air section of the restaurant, overlooking the bustling streets of Scout Lazcano, Scout Magbanua and Mother Ignacia. Its airy, relaxed feel makes it a perfect hang out, anytime of the day.
