Know the Truth

Today the Catholic Church is under attack from all fronts, including the political and academic front. The enemies of the Church are intensifying their efforts to destroy and malign this One True Church founded by our Lord Jesus Christ. In effect, many people are losing their faith and others are in terrible pain because they are not fully equipped to answer questions and accusations hurled against the Church. This is a reality of life, this is a fact in our society.

In response to this great need of the Church, the late MRS. LOURDES CUBERO CARREDO founded THE CEDAR MEDIA a media arm of CHILDREN OF LIGHT CATHOLIC COMMUNITY with aim to deepen the faith of the Catholic Faithful rooted in the Sacred Scriptures and the Magisterium of the Church. It aims to use the social media to achieve this goal. Thus, under the leadership of her son in law, Peter Garcia the Community invited two prominent Catholic Apologists in the Philippines, namely ATTY. MARWIL LLASOS and REV. FR. ABE P. ARGANIOSA. So that by being united the splendor of truth and the beauty of the Catholic Faith shall shine to attract minds and hearts to the fullness of grace in this Body of Christ.

THE CHILDREN OF LIGHT COMMUNITY is now preparing for its 25th Anniversary and this program: KNOW THE TRUTH shall be its crowning gift to Christ the King and to Mary our Queen-Mother.

ATTY. MARWIL N. LLASOS, OP is a graduate of the prestigious UP College of Law, a consecrated lay of the Company of St. Dominic, author of the bestselling book DEFENDING MARY OUR MOTHER, professor and renowned preacher. He is an associate member of Defensores Fidei Foundation [DFF] and a legal adviser of Catholic Faith Defender [CFD] in Davao City.

REV. FR. ABE P. ARGANIOSA is one of the two National Advisers of CFD National and a former CFD National Spiritual Director. He is also an associate member of DFF. He is the founder of the most famous religious Blog in the Philippines: [http.www.thesplendorofthechurch.com where he answered thousands of questions from other sects and from Catholics who were in need of answers about our Faith. Moreover, he is also a popular speaker in the country in the field of Catholic Apologetics and like Atty. Mars he frequently appears on various Radio Stations to defend the Faith and on TV programs in Cebu and in Sorsogon.
