JCET Resources Mining Corporation (JCET) was founded in July 2005 by Jaime Tetangco as a direct response to the National Government’s request to have the local sector involved in the exploration and development of the country’s mineral resources, utilizing sustainable and responsible methods.

In response to the Governments request, Mr. Tetangco embraced this new challenge and brought with him vast experience from the construction and development industries. This valuable experience as well as the assets acquired through his companies, TETSON Construction and JPIF Construction and Trading, aided in the transition to becoming a fully operational mining company. Prior to becoming a mining company, one of JPIF Construction’s most successful endeavors was proactive participation in Matatag Mining Corporation’s Doña Remedios Trinidad, Bulacan Iron Ore Project. JPIF was the main contractor and supplied 90% of Matatag Mining Corporation heavy equipment needs.

Within six ,months, JCET was able to increase its mining claims to more than 17,000 hectares in the Bicol Region, Currently, JCET’s primary focus in the expansion, exploration and development of its current 32,480 hectares of mining claims in tandem with this affiliate company Microminerals Resources Mining Corporation (MRMC), which was formed due to the current cap of 32,000 hectares of claims place on a single company.

These achievements are a direct result of Mr. Tetangco and his senior officer’s diligent effort and persistence. Their collective hard work has allowed JCET to compete with the best in the industry.
