SCHOOL HISTORY

Cagbalete II Elementary School was established 1957-1958 with Mr. Anselmo Desembrana as the lone teacher of 32 pupils in grade one and Grade two. The little old Brgy. Hall served as the classroom of the pupils. There was no record as how the school operated between the year 1958-1975. Ms. Naisy Dela Cruz took charged of 56 grade one to two pupils in 1976-1977. Next school year, Ms. Luzviminda Gonzales replaced Ms. Dela Cruz. 1978-1979 there was an increased of enrollment, that made Mrs. Alice Olila handled Grade three. The need for permanent location of the school materialized when the people of the barangay ask for a lot donation from Mrs. Emiliana Dela Costa and Father Horacio Dela Costa, the only son of Mrs. Dela Costa. One (1) hectare of land was donated on October 12, 1976. Mr. Romeo Devera was the one who took charge of partition of the lot. In 1977, Mrs. Illuminada Caliwara requested from Mr. Saturnino Magturo, The Schools Division Superintendent Lipunan School Building was constructed April 3, 1978.

With the increase of enrollment the classes became Grade I to IV until become a complete elementary school.
